SEALINGS
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Seals
Differences in the dimensions of the warehouse door opening and the docked lorry create free spaces which are sealed by dock shelters. These act to protect the goods from the weather during loading and unloading, as well as reducing energy losses during vehicle docking.

Performance options

PMV
The most commonly used model due to its simplicity and functionality. The sleeve is constructed from two independent aluminium frames connected by articulated arms.
During docking, the parallel guide system pivots backwards and special spring tensions create additional pressure of the seal against the vehicle. The whole is covered with an extremely tear-resistant 3 mm thick PVC tarpaulin.

PMN
It is a sleeve that is installed directly into the recess of the building so as not to disrupt the continuity of the façade and significantly improve the overall visual uniformity of the building.

IPR
Pneumatic sealing sleeve combining optimum sealing with versatility of application.
The inflatable side and top cushions fit tightly to the vehicle, automatically adjusting to the vehicle and creating an almost airtight connection. Ideal for cold stores and air-conditioned spaces.
The result of this type of sealing is significant energy savings, improved working and sanitary conditions.

EN
The external loading bay is a covered hot-dip galvanised enclosure which, together with the loading ramp, sectional door and dock shelter, forms a complete loading system installed outside the building.
Locks are used in both new and existing facilities. By using such a solution, valuable storage space is gained with the simultaneous thermal insulation of the facility.
Additional options

Standard
Standard solution with side notches. Works well in most cases of vehicle handling with typical dimensions.

Tarpaulin with additional side cuts (type T)
Tarpaulin supplied with additional notches, forming three flaps each on the right and left sides. Provides
optimum sealing of vehicle corners.

Notched tarpaulin (type V)
Tarpaulin supplied with additional notches along the entire length of the tarpaulin. Provides optimum sealing of the vehicle corners, especially if the width of the docked vehicles varies widely.

Numbered tarpaulin
Optional indication of e.g. dock number.

Overrun belts
Standard white overrun strips make it easier to dock vehicles.

Stiffening laths
Additional optional stiffening elements for the side tarpaulin. They provide increased pressure on the tarpaulin to the vehicle and thus better sealing.

Bumper cut-outs
Optional cut-outs in the side tarpaulins to prevent material damage when heavy-duty bumpers are used at the dock.

Rain gutter
A special gutter integrated into the roof of the unit ensures that rainwater drains off to the side. It prevents the accumulation of water in the loading area.

Sealing rollers
Optional flexible rollers to provide additional sealing to the lower corners of the PMV sleeve.

Electric roller shutter
Additional electrically operated dock shelter. Allows handling of vehicles with very large height differences. Controlled directly or integrated into the PROM dock leveller controller.
